Ltd since 2001. He has also held leadership positions at Eastman Kodak Company, Singapore, McKinsey & Company, F. Hoffmann - La-Roche AG, Switzerland. |

Mr. John Mathew
Mr. Mathew is Chief General Manager and Head of Corporate Banking, Structured Finance and Overseas Investment at Export-Import Bank of India [Exim Bank] and is part of the Bank’s top management team responsible for the Bank’s All-India Credit Operations. Mr. Mathew joined Exim Bank in January 1990 and has over 20 years of banking experience which has been mainly in the area of Corporate Banking. Mr. Mathew’s experience in Corporate Banking at Exim Bank, inter alia, include Business Development, Product Development, Loan Syndications, Overseas Investment, Film Financing and Structured Financing. Exim Bank has been very active in financing Corporate India’s acquisition spree over the past four years and Mr. Mathew had led this initiative of Exim Bank.
Mr. Mathew was the head of Exim Bank’s European Union Office in Italy during the period 1994 to 1998.
Before joining Exim Bank, Mr. Mathew was working with FEDO, a south based Fertiliser & Chemical Turnkey Consultancy Company as Project Manager for over five years.

Currently Mr. Thampi is the Chairman of Pioneer Balloon India Pvt. Limited and Director of several leading companies including HDFC Asset Management Company Limited. An active member of Indo German Chamber of Commerce, he has served as its Vice President and President. |

Mr. Venkat Iyer
On the Board as Executive Director with effect from January 19, 2010. Joined Strides in 1999 and was CEO – India Operations before induction to Board. Has over 28 years of experience in the Indian pharmaceutical industry and holds a Masters’ degree in Science (Chemistry) and a Diploma in Business Management. Venkat brings to the Board the technical expertise and key talent that will be beneficial in evolving our strategy going forward.
